Venge had come to check on the girls, it had been two days since he'd first met up with Aless and rescued her from an attack. He'd find her now sleeping on the couch of Rave and her roomate's apartment. There was a 'nice', nasty, but healing claw mark on her face.. from Rave.
"Raven," teasing scold.... "You didn't try to eat her eyes did you? I promised her you wouldn't."
"What? Oh no.. just getting to know each other a bit." She smiled cutely, as if she was just an innocent little girl. "I decided I like her."
"Of course. Or you would've left a messy mark." He fussed over Aless a moment to ensure she was alright. She'd earned more words already from his sister than most did in a week or more - a sign she really did like her.
Aless stirred in her sleep, blinking and rolling over, pushing the covers further off her bare legs, it appeared she was clad only in a small t-shirt and and equally small pair of knit shorts. She murmured something incoherant before a more clear question came out. "Are you sure your sister isn't part mule?" Aless chuckled and reached a hand to rub at her eyes, so she could wake up and be more polite company to Venge.
Rave giggled, which sounded a bit more like a happy bird twittering than a laugh and she tugged at Venge, trying to show him her wrists. "I didn't want to let her help.. she tackled me!" But the soft tender skin of her wrists was clear of the scars and burns from her attack, that had caused her so much pain and emotional suffering.
"MMmmm.... beautiful as ever and I'm glad she tackled you. Maybe I'll get to return the favor," he teased them both in turn, kissing Raven's healed wrist.
Rave seemed very happy and smiled brightly as Venge kissed her wrist, even if she was one to talk alot, there were no words that could show how grateful she was. She went back to being quiet and into the kitchen to fix up something for lunch, Venge would probably notice there was more food than usual in the girl's cupboard and fridge.
Aless laughed a little though she wasn't able to hide the light blush at how her thoughts took his tease and ran.. She doubted that he'd see her in that way, though. He'd helped her and had wanted her help with his sister, friendly - sure, but she wasn't banking on anything more. "So.. is there any 'news'.. and is it bad that I'm almost hoping there isn't? I kind of like being here.."
"Probably. I wasn't listening if there was. I was enjoying the silence, actually. The sector police are behaving themselves... which can only mean they're up to something or hiding something else that we've missed, thankfully. I'm waiting on Iain. He's lurking in shadows to get more information. Then... we get to see when it's alright for you to go home again."
Rave was listening from the kitchen and there was a slight pause in the noises of her lunch preparations, indicating that perhaps she didn't want Aless to leave. The normal quiet clatter resumed and she stayed in the other room, keeping her thoughts and comments to herself.
