Ariane was shocked as heck to come home, to Marc's home and find the group of spawn there.
Offers her a 'safe' drink from a bottle she'd recognize. "Darling... we have guests.. hope it's not a bother," *mutters* "..since they seem to be staying... indefinitely."
Pulls her knives out and thrusts them towards him. "These need to be cleaned.. would you give me a hand?" A big hint for him to come into the other room with her, as she looks over the 'people' in his living room.
"Hmm.. yes, they do... thoroughly cleaned," he hummed, giving her a look of lost frustration though his voice didn't betray that. "You lot, stay here, play nice and don't set fire to anything, alright? Good, thank you. Sit... stay..." He rolled his eyes and grabbed her wrist gently, "Come on."
She glanced back at the others as he lead her off, fighting her first urge to be 'defiant' and pull her wrist from his grasp. Instead she let him hold onto her and followed him closely, nearly leaning against him as the went out of view from the strangers.
"Do me a favor and cut my arm. I'll explain in a moment," he said, stopping out of their view. If he was in any way going to control them, he needed to entice them somehow to pay attention and he could smell the annoyance in Ariane's scent already. He grinned. "It will certainly make us both feel better." He spoke louder with the kindest respect to her now, ensuring, he hoped, that they understood her place as well, beside him, with equal control. "What have we got planned tonight? Hunting, glory, feasting well?"
She glanced at him and then at his arm, motioning as if to ask how much he wanted her to slice. "I already went.. hunting.." She lowered her voice a little, glancing at him, unsure still how he felt about her hunting like she did. Especially going off on her own and not telling him where she'd be or knowing if she'd come back. Ari wondered if he worried about her in that way.
"Ah yes, I was detained by a visitor. It won't happen again," he said loudly with the grin in his voice, waiting for her blade. He held his arm out, stoic and insistent. It didn't matter how deep or how much as long as it bled well enough for the scent to carry. His other hand reached to the sink, turning the faucet on full. He whispered close to her ear over the hiss of the water. "More than just a visitor. We need to get them to sleep... soon... and we need to talk."
It was sort of like a flinch in response to what he said as her arm jerked and her knife cut deeply into his arm. "I see." She spoke quietly, looking to his face rather than the bloody knife or his arm.
He leaned down to kiss her rather than seethe against the pain he'd asked for. That moment transferred into a very sweet 'thank you' over her lips. "Not detained in that way - like I said, we need to talk," he whispered, pulling away with smouldering eyes as he flexed his hand for the blood to race down the length of his arm. "They need to understand me, and who you are or there's going to be a great deal of trouble going forward. Hungry?" He offered her the scent to follow to lick in front of their 'audience' ... a necessary show.
Her eyes narrowed on him for a brief moment as if wanting to say something but growling softly and turning her gaze back to his arm. She suddenly felt as though she'd not eaten for days and her hand was quick to grasp his wrist and lift his arm so she could lap at the blood that flowed from the wound. Her knife dropped to the counter as her tongue licked over him and tenderly tickled his wound as she helped it to heal.
