Gabe's Keep - Larson/Devin's room
"uh oh.." She started as she happened to check her phone after it fell out of her purse which had been mostly forgotten since they'd arrived at Gabe's keep. She read the message to Larson, where her ex called her his girl.
Larson just said... I don't f*cking think so
"but apparently Robbie thinks so.."
"well looks like we'll have to go change his mind, won't we?"
"can we pick up my dog?... I miss him.."
Smiles. "you can do whatever your heart wants."
"Have you.. I'd like my dog.. think you'll like him too.. he didn't like robbie either, bit his crotch once.." Laughs at the memory and leans to kiss Larson.
"Good boy." *chuckles* "hmm... hope he's had his shots. Robbie I mean... poor dog."
"Oh I took the dog to the vet to be checked.." She chuckled, smiling and sliding down into his lap. "You won't mind the dog..really?"
"I won't. I'm not sure he'll get along well here though. May have to figure out a way to mark him so he's not mistaken for lunch."
"Someone eats my dog and I'll rip their insides out!"
"Well that's a good warning and all, but you'd still have one less dog. I'm trying to prevent that. Of course, we wouldn't have to stay here all the time."
"Doesn't matter if we stay here or not.. just as long as I get to be with you. I'm sure if we get him a collar or something.. he'd be with us most of the time anyway.. and just let the others know he's not their lunch."
"Well it's a done deal then. Robbie on the other hand... maybe we should invite him over for ... drinks." *wink*
Dev pouted and curled her legs up. "I like being with you.. more than I ever liked being with him." She spoke softly. "Aria said she went to campus a few times.. he's been looking for me, pretty bad this time.. even roughed up a few people.. I don't get it.. why? Why doesn't he just 'let me go' ?"
"Because he's as clueless this time around as he was before - obviously didn't learn anything the first time. I'm sorry Devin, but you better decide if you really care about him at all and tell me now because I don't plan on being nice."
Her hand lifted and brushed over her cheek as though rubbing something that wasn't seen there now. She sighed and lifted her blue eyes to his. "All I can say is.. you have to do what you feel you need to.. he wasn't very nice to me."
He nodded and covered her hand with his, kissing her palm, following down her arm with soft kisses until he could curl her closer to him. "What I feel I need to do... has nothing to do with him... right now."
"Good." She whispered, finding her smile again as she curled to him. ".. I don't want to think about him right now.. Something much better has my attention right now."
