Follows: " The Smell Of Roses" (early hours of the 2nd) She would have begged to leave before the Witch touched her, literally on her hands and knees, but thankfully, it hadn't come to that.
"Wow... This is it?" She blinked, looking up to Gabriel. "Really? This isn't some elaborate joke right? Actually... even if it is, can you wait till tomorrow to tell me?" She laughed softly, reaching for his hand.
"I feel... Kinda embarassed... like a schoolgirl around the teacher she has a crush on. Do you think thats a good thing?" Talking... really, she had to learn to control this whole talking thing. Usually, she said very little... at least as far as she could remember, but around him, she couldn't seem to help herself... ...just as she couldn't help looking down at her clothing and wishing she'd worn something a little... sexier? Well... he was gorgeous, to say the least.Gabriel seemed to puff up with pride at her gushing over his home, the estate was old and reminded him of his home long ago, though it was not quite as lavish it still had that old castle feel that he loved. He smiled at Dallas, he didn't seem to mind all her talking, to be honest he'd missed the sound of her voice. "I think it's wonderful." He chuckled and pulled her a little closer. "I have missed you so much." He whispered as he attempted to place a kiss to her temple and lead her through the halls of the manor to his private suites. One of the servants rushed up as Gabe walked with his wife, the servant bowed deeply. "M'lord.. shall I send in dinner for you and Lady Kisslinger?" Gabriel was about to swat the annoying fly for being so stupid to ask, of course he wanted.. but then Gabe addressed his wife with a smile. "My dear would you like some dinner or perhaps just something light to snack on while we get reaquainted?""I..." She paused, looking embarassed. "I wish I remembered enough to say I missed you too. Must have been one heck of a bump on the head." Dallas smiled, closing her eyes briefly as he kissed her, trying to keep track of where they were heading. "Lady?" She blinked briefly, before smiling back at Gabriel. "That's cute, I love that... and Thank you, but no. I don't think I could eat anything right now." He waved the servant off and watched for a moment as they scurried away like a frightened mouse, it made him chuckle a little. Gabe turned back to Dallas with a slight nod of his head. "Yes, Lady Kisslinger.. it's your title as my wife. Though our nobility isn't as flaunted as it used to be.. modern times and all."

"Wow that's... You know, I can't even think of a word that wont make me sound about fourteen again. Like 'awesome'. Bad habits from working with children and all." She shrugged slightly. "This place seems to suit you perfectly."
Gabe laughed quietly at the bit of a joke she made about herself, though he shook his head as if to say it wasn't so. "Thank you. I do hope you will be comfortable here as well. You used to love this place.. That might be why I kept it after I thought you were gone. Might be just because I like it.."
"Might be just because? You know, that was very almost sweet of you... Only almost though. Now, Lord Kisslinger, if you're going to play your cards close to your chest...-" Dallas broke off, stopping and bending a little forwards, her hand resting on the bottom of her ribcage, as though the breath had just been knocked out of her.
"Dallas!?" Gabe sort of let her name out in a harsh whisper as he shifted forward, trying to find out what was wrong. "What's wrong?" He asked, glancing around to see if any of the normally unseen beings were about and playing tricks
Dallas breathed in sharply, and let it out again slowly, before looking at him. "I... just lost my breath all of a sudden Ga..." She frowned at him, blinking a few times. "Gabriel." A slow smile spread across her face. "It's about time..." She muttered, straightening and moving closer to him, studying his face intently... as if commiting it to memory.
He was confused to say the least but wrapped Dallas up in his arms and smiled at her, though the smile was curious and questioning. "Are you going to explain or leave me guessing?" He asked her as his hand lifted to brush over her cheek.
"You brought me my keys that day..." She smiled a little. "That first day." She threw her arms around him properly, "Do you remember? Well... not that you wouldn't..." She paused a moment. "But I remember... and of course the classic 'Hey babe where you been all my Immortal Life?' and my personal favourite 'So wanna marry me before I take over the world?'"
Gabe let a delighted chuckle roll out as he shook his head in disbelief while she rolled out some of his more memorable lines. She remembered? This was.. excellent, perhaps things were finally as they should be. There had been a part of him missing without her by his side and now she was in his arms and was remembering the things they had shared. "I remember." He told her softly, having one of his rare genuine moments where there was no sarcasm or flash, it was just him holding her and being honestly happy about it. "I've often thought about those times.. about you and everything we had. All the things you brought to my life, I started to think perhaps it was my punishment to be without you."

"Perhaps, for once, you've been a very good boy then. I mean, if my... abscence, was your punishment and now I am returned to you, surely this must be a reward, for the both of us." Dallas smiled a little. "That, or I'm dreaming for the first time in years." Dallas paused a moment. "I suppose really I should apolgise for my reaction to your... family friend. It really wouldn't do for me to feel threatened by the attractive woman you turned up with now would it?"
"Shhhhh don't say that!" He chuckled, acting as if he might be insulted that she said he'd been a good boy at all. Gabriel had a tendancy to try to act worse than he really was at times. He could be very dark and cruel when the mood suited him and just as easily be ever so kind in the next moment.
His smile shifted from playful to touched when she said she might be dreaming, as if he were something worth dreaming of, his cool fingers brushed her cheek as he gazed into her gorgeous eyes. "If I am dreaming, then let me never awaken.." It wasn't the exact quote of the line but it was sincere of how he felt. "You have nothing to apologise for.. I wasn't thinking of how you'd react to her because of not remembering things and the sort of beings I surrounded myself with. I was only thinking she might be able to help you." He let out a sigh, he didn't need to breathe but sometimes the action was comforting. "It is I who should be apologising to you, for making you in any way uncomfortable.. or feeling threatened." His smile returned and he shook his head slightly. "You have no reason to feel threatened by her or any other woman. You are truly irreplacible, my love."
She smiled at the touch of his hand, her fingers moving to hold it gently there against her skin. "And now I realise why people always feel... feverish, too warm, to the touch... to me."
Dallas paused a moment, before pulling a face. "This doesn't mean I have to be Nice to her, does it?" The words left a bad taste in her mouth, even as it was meant as a little of a joke. Civil she could manage - came with being a teacher - but Nice, she wasn't so sure about. Sickly-sweetly-nice perhaps... but then again, that was more for dealing with errant children.
"It's sweet of you, to call me irreplaceable, but I can not possibly allow it. Afterall, you have and will live a lot longer than me - what is to say you will not eventually find someone you love more... After, of course. I couldn't have you running off with someone else while I'm still around could I?" She smiled a little faintly and shrugged. "But the sentiment, is appreciated, My Love."
"No, it doesn't mean you have to be nice to her. You're my wife, your place is far above hers." Gabriel smiled, the expression seemed more sad than happy as his intense gaze focused on her like he was soaking her into himself in some way. He hated when she spoke of being gone and he hated that she didn't consider becoming like him. He supposed he could force her to, but then she would hate him and that would be worse. "In all my long life, there has never been anyone like you.. no one could even compare. These past two years have been.. the loneliest I have ever experienced."
"Perhaps then, we should make this final return home an event of celebration... Just the two of us?" She smiled a little. "I have no intention of leaving you again, especially not by choice." Her fingers curled into his shirt, tugging gently for him to come kiss her. "Not ever. Besides, I could really use an extra pair of hands to unlace this damn thing." He'd probably already felt the steel bones of the corset which had, over the last two years become a last line of defence, 'just in case'. Years ago it had always had pride of place ontop of whatever she was wearing, now it was hidden beneath the black shirt.
"Final return home.. never ever leaving me again.. I have dreamed of such things.. when I'm not dreaming of much more disturbing things." He chuckled and slid his hands along her sides, his head shook slightly, a small pout on his lips. "I do hope you'll wear this.." His hand slipped under her shirt to feel the corset against his cool fingers, and then her skin along the edge of it. "..on the outside, next time." Of course he didn't intend her to be wearing anything for a long time after this. His hands turned and grasped the fabric of the offending black shirt, with his strength it tore away like a breeze.

"Do I only get to play in your non-disturbing dreams then?" She smiled a little, "And perhaps, if you're lucky... it'll be the only thing I'll be wearing." Dallas breathed in sharply as he ripped the shirt away, looking up at him through her lashes. "As much as I love that, you'd best not try that with the corset." She couldn't help grinning at him.
"You can play in any dreams you like, as long as you never leave me again." He nipped lightly at her shoulder, careful not to break the skin, though he long to drink of her and have her drink of him. His fingers troked over the edges of the corset more and his grin deepened. "My dear, I would never tear your lovely corset, I know how you adore it... mmm unless of course you promise to bite and claw at me for it?" His eyebrow arched up as his chuckle rolled out, he pulled her up against him.
"You're so sweet... How about I promise NOT to do those things, if you do rip it?" Her hands slid across his chest and over his shoulders as she moved to whisper. "How about we find a door to barricade so no-one watches my significantly less impressive methods of getting your clothes off, involving buttons, zippers, and if you're really nice to me, maybe even a pair of scissors."
"Now where would the fun be in that?" Gabe chuckled and ran his hand over the soft warm skin of her shoulder. His arm shifted to wrap gently around her slim waist and he gestured with the other to a door that was a short distance ahead of them. "The master suite, I do hope that will be acceptable to you." It had been more than acceptable to her at one time but who knew what might have changed in the time she was away or what side effects might surface from what had been done to her.
"Fun?" She raised her eyebrow. "I'm not aiming for fun," She whispered, "I'm going for fair." Her head dropped to his shoulder for a second as she looked at the door. "A broom closet would be perfect by me as long as there were room for the both of us in there." She'd been half-afraid that he'd rather have her somewhere else, because of what had happened over the last few years. "Now, Gabriel... I do hope you'll forgive me for being so blunt and a little rude, but if you don't kiss me properly, right now, I may just explode... and I do mean properly... one of those fantastic breath-stealing, tingly-feeling kisses." A light pink started to colour her cheeks. She didn't say things like that out loud... as a matter of fact, she only realised she had after she'd finished speaking.
"Ohhh my dear, you know I don't do fair.. often." Gabe chuckled and swept her up into his arms to carry her the rest of the way to the suite. Thank the gods for his vampire senses as he leaned to kiss her thoroughly while carrying her down the hall. He kicked the door of the room open and brought her inside, going toward the bed to rest her down and finish what had been started.
