Mid-Morning
Veinna Estate - Lily's room
Certain details had come to light about the twin princesses and their leading men, just how long and how much sneaking around had been done. Both girls were grounded to put it lightly and their respective beaus were also facing restrictions. The punishments sent quite a shock wave through the house and each girl staged her own protest against them.
For Lily who was already a bit unstable, overly sensitive and mixed up, her gift being what it was sometimes made it very hard to deal with her own emotions. After being told that her wedding to Marcus was cancelled and that she would not be allowed to see him anymore, she was distraught. Her emotions got the better of her and while taking a bath she took a razor to her wrists. Thankfully Mitch had been assigned as her guard, and found her in time to help her before it was too late.
While Mitch went downstairs and her parents were busy, Marcus snuck into her room and left a flower for Lilian... he's not entirely a scoundrel, just mostly.
"Aww.." She came from the bathroom to find the flower on her pillow. She smiled and sniffed the flower.. wishing she could see him.. maybe someday her family will come around.
He leaned at her doorway and grinned his lupine best. "Glad you like it. It's from the garden... best I could do since I've been suspended," he chuckled, stepping in, Mitch nowhere to be seen in the hallway.
She looked up and smiled softly, her eyes lighting up brighter than they had in.. since her father 'grounded her'. "Marc.." She whispered, starting to step towards him, but hesitating. "What.. how.. are you mad at me?"
"Mad at y-....," he paused, realizing his voice might carry. "I'm not mad. Not with you. You have every reason to loathe me, like the rest of this house. Listen.. um... Lily, I don't have much time. Mitch will be back and he'll smell me... I can't stay, but I want you to know. It will work out somehow. Trust me?"
She bit her lip, her eyes brimming with tears as she nodded her head. "I do.. I'm sorry.. I just.." She rushed to him, to quickly entangle with him for a passionate kiss, if he'd allow such an action. She didn't think about it, just moved as though drawn to him. "I don't loathe you.." She whispered, wanting to cling to him for so much longer than they had before Mitch came back.
Marcus pulled her close, ever dark and harsh, but enveloped in her softness he held her gently in return. He was dressed to go out somewhere, though he'd been put on suspension, meaning he couldn't leave the grounds. Rory had dampened his ability to transform so he wasn't leaving that way. He was only a man in the arms of a tender girl at this moment, the one who carried his child. "Trust me then and don't worry. Smile for me? I have to go."
"I trust you." She whispered, wiping her cheeks and tilting her face up to him, she took a deep breath and then smiled beautifully for him. "Be careful.. be safe." She whispered in a caring tone.
