June 25, 2009 6pm Resher Offices"Okay then..." Daddy clapsed his hands together and then told Vic to get the car, he had a driver of course but Vic was 'his boy' today. The one who stayed with him and guarded him through his daily activities, the boys rotated this duty and thier other assignments. Daddy turned his attention to the brunette who was getting his brief case ready. "Miss Mitchell get your coat." At her pause and look of surprise he just grinned and motioned her toward the door as he stood from his desk. She didn't often go with Daddy to meetings that were not legit business, though she was well aware the other side of his dealings. She nodded her head and snapped the case closed before retieving her own coat as well as Daddy's. She held Resher's coat for him as he slipped his arms into the sleeves and smoothed his collar as efficiently as she always did. Vic paused at the door a moment, a single step, listening for whatever directive was going to be given. He wasn't sure why it mattered to him how Daddy ordered her around like he did with everyone else, but he knew it wasn't his place to interfere. He continued out on his way and was calling down for the car on his way down ahead of them, sending the elevator back up to be waiting for them as they came down the hall. He watched for the car to pull up, counting seconds to ensure the wait was adequately short, read as none at all, or Daddy's currently pleasant mood might turn south. A set of eyes followed Vic's movement ahead of them, but only for the length of a glance and her attention was fully on her boss again. Alice didn't ask why she was coming along, she followed the orders Daddy gave with a pleasant smile and her normal care. The elevator rose to meet them as they came out into the hall and was waiting for them when they stepped onto it. Daddy appeared in to be in good spirits and Alice was relaxed but alert at his side, she carried his briefcase and pushed the lobby button on the console. The ride down was spent in brief chatter about whether or not she'd completed certain tasks for Daddy - all of which she had, of course. They were discussing his schedule for the following day as they stepped off the elevator, her eyes moved out to the car, the driver, and finally Victor. She smiled politely as she walked beside Daddy, though the warmth of her eyes while her gaze was on Victor was more genuine and several degrees warmer. Daddy had yet to reveal what his plan was, though his assistant and guard knew his next 'appointment' was at the wharehouse downtown. He nodded to Victor as they approached the car, cutting off his conversation with Alice for a moment. "Victor, are we good?" He asked before getting into the car to ensure things were still running smoothly. "Never for a moment, sir," he joked, though with a professional bow, just a tip of the shoulders as he acknowledged the affirmative, just the same and holding the door of the car open for them. "Golden, yes. Will there be anything else, sir?" "Good." He grinned and even chuckled a little at Vic's joke. "I'm hoping there will be much much more." There was obviously something about the upcoming meeting which was putting Daddy in an especially good mood, though again he wasn't giving the details. Over his shoulder he barked at Alice, though not as harshly as he did with others in his employ. "Get in the car." He stood close to Victor, face to face with a chilling expression darkening his features. Alice gripped the handle of the briefcase a little tighter but got into the car as she was told, her curiosity growing as to what part she was meant to play in this evening's events. She slipped smoothly into the car and sat patiently waiting for Daddy and Vic - if he was coming with them, to get into the car. The smile and joking tone whispered away from his features, leaving a colder grin behind as the man pushed her along again and stared him down. "Of course sir. Will I need to make any further arrangements?" "I hope you're feeling creative this evening Victor, I think you'll find this meeting quite satifying.. I'm sure I will." His grin returned and he glanced to his side at the car, though the girl inside wasn't visible. "Get your ass in the car." He almost growled as he moved to slide himself into the limo, sitting close to Alice on the bench seat. "Sir," he stated curtly, agreeing though he found it difficult to simply say 'yes', not knowing fully what the agreement was for as the man gestured to Alice. He joined them in the car, sitting as comfortable a distance as he could from the man in charge. "I'm sure everything will be quite to your satisfaction, sir," he acknowledged quietly, glancing toward Alice himself, though blocked by Daddy's thick shoulders that walled between them. Daddy knew what he knew and let the two on either side of him wonder and their thoughts wander as he left them in the dark about what was happening for a little longer. His hand rested warmly over Alice's knee, where her leg was crossed over the other and her skirt rode up her thighs a little higher. "Vic, sit across from us not in my lap damn it." He chuckled and gave the younger man what could be considered a playful nudge. He usually did have one of his men sitting beside him, but he didn't usually have Alice beside him as well. Normally when she rode with him she sat across from him. Alice let her gaze shift down to the sudden weight and warmth of Resher's hand on her knee, her expression didn't change. Her hands however did shift to rest a couple inches up on her lap, making a clear road block and indication that she wasn't welcoming the advance though she didn't attempt to remove his hand from her leg. He crawled across to the facing seat this time which admittedly gave him a much better view out the rear window for the safety of his employer, but also a view of the hand on the knee beneath the skirt that drew his attention, the combination of which made him almost as uncomfortable as it did for Alice. "Better... sir?" "Much." His thumb lazily stroked the smooth soft skin of the toned leg beneath his hand, Resher smiled again. There was a certain mischevious twinkle in his eyes as he gazed across the space between the seats at Victor. "So.. Vic.. You dating anyone.. anyone regularly or signifigant I should say..?" He knew exactly who Victor was showing interest in and even some of the more private details and he was totally f*cking with him at the moment. Alice held herself still and her expression polite as Resher took the liberty of stroking the small area of her leg under his thumb. She felt her tummy do a little flip flop when he asked Vic about whether or not he was dating anyone and she wondered if Vic would come right out and tell him. She licked her lips and gazed across at the man who's hand she wished was on her leg instead. She wouldn't be mad if Vic did tell Resher, but she also wasn't in the position to say anything at the moment, in case Vic would rather not reveal their relationship so openly to their boss. "I am, sir. Quite significant, though not as regular as I'd prefer, but that's the job, isn't it?" His grin twitched a little with the nervous admission, knowing how less comfortable it would be for him to lie about it to the man, especially with Alice's brother so close by to them all. "Is that a problem, sir?" "Problem? No, no.. of course not. Well unless she's a threat to my business.. you don't think she is, do you? You know what.. you should bring her to dinner tonight after this meeting. I'd love to meet her." He smiled in a more friendly manner, while he spoke his hand moved a little more boldly over Al's leg. He did stop shy of where her hands were placed, though his efforts moved her skirt a tad higher than it was before. Her fingers tightened in their clasp of each other as Resher's hand moved over her leg, he was being more bold with her than he had been before and she had to admit - to herself- that it made her nervous. He'd flirted a little, made some 'friendly gestures' like slapping her ass a few times or setting his hand on her knee while talking to her, but he'd never put his hand up her leg like this. Her smile faltered for a moment but she kept herself under control, her eyes might have shown for a moment that she was upset but she blinked the expression away and kept quiet. If he tried to get any farther up she wasn't sure she could keep herself from slapping him. "You have, sir. I can assure she's no threat to your business, far from it. If you tell me when the meeting may be over, I'll be sure to ask her to join us," he said, playing as straight as he could without putting Alice on the spot and without outright lying. "I can't honestly say when it will be over.. only that it wont be until you, Alice, and I are all fully satisfied." The smile and the mischevious sparkle flashed again. "That's where your creativity is going to come into play. Though I have a feeling you won't dissappoint me. Alice on the other hand.. I don't know, her tastes are much different than mine..." The car rounded into the wharehouse lot and drove into one of the recieving bays. Alice couldn't totally contain the surprise at Resher's comments, her eyes widened and darted to the side though her face remained forward. Her posture had slowly become more rigid as she held herself still in the seat beside Resher. "I'm not sure I understand, sir. My creativity, but your satisfaction, I thought was what you... I misunderstood," Vic stammered, unsure, faltering a moment as his thoughts darted like Alice's carefully contained glance he saw that Resher may not have from beside her. "Of course you won't be disappointed, sir. I'll be sure of that." "Good. I so hate to be disappointed." Resher chuckled as he gently patted Alice's knee before removing his hand from it's perch on her leg. "Well let's get to this." He didn't reveal anymore to them as he slid himself out of the car without waiting for Victor to exit the vehicle first. He rolled his shoulders as if loosening himself up like a boxer might before a fight. "I also hate when one of my employees gets too full of themselves and starts thinking they can do whatever they want.." He continued as he stood a couple of feet from the car, gazing toward a man who was tied to a chair on a small platform near the end of the bay. Alice held her breath for a moment as she carefully straightened her skirt and brushed her hands over her legs as if wiping away the unwanted touch. It was pretty clear Vic didn't know anymore about what was going on than she did and she looked to him for a moment, wondering what he was thinking after sitting across from them while Resher made his comments and ran his hands over her leg. Vic watched Resher glide away from the car, leaving them in the dark in far too many ways. He followed and glanced back to Alice, saying little more than the shrug allowed and the hand that reached to help her out of the car with him. "At least he didn't mean me... I hope," he whispered. Resher hummed softly turning back to Vic and Alice as they came out of the car, his smile was broad, he was pleased with how perfectly things had been set up. He said nothing about Biff who was hidden in the shadows to observe this little party. Biff had also been kept in the dark about the true intentions of this meeting but they were all about to be enlightened. Resher was having fun with his little game - more than he'd had in weeks. "So Vic.. this signifigant other.. who is she? That blonde you brought to the party a couple months ago?" Alice shifted and clasped Victor's hand, holding it a little tighter and a little longer than she would have for anyone else. "Or me.. I hope." She whispered back with a slight smile. She didn't linger in the car and came out to stand beside Vic, letting go of his hand as she viewed the bay and the scene that was unfolding more. She almost commented on the blonde in a teasing manner but was stopped by the anticipation of how Vic might answer Resher's question. The question caught him off guard as he turned. "Pardon?" ...what blonde, he thought, and which party, though it was possible it could have been anyone or Resher was toying with him. He wasn't counting on that, however. "Oh, no sir. Not the blonde. Brunette, actually... stunning. I think you'll truly approve. But the meeting first?" The railing above them wound around like the balcony seats meant for royalty at the opera. Biff watched from his seat at that rail and grinned, a hint of red brimming around the edge of a tooth where he bit his lip hard enough to remind himself to keep quiet. He tugged against the cuff that held him down for now, but once he was out, he was going to give Victor another piece of his fist.Resher nodded a bit as if he'd forgotten about the meeting for a moment and Vic had reminded him of it. "Hmm yes that meeting.." He motioned them toward the man in the chair, there was a cover over his face and head and he was tied down so they couldn't see who it was. All that was heard were muffled pleas and protests. "I'm glad it's not that blonde.. you need someone with class Vic.. classy and maybe a little tough too. Like my Gwen.. now there is a fine woman. Mmm mmm mmmm.." He smiled and hummed thinking of his current and so far most favorite wife. "Now.. as you teach this sack of shit over here a lesson, I want you to think about this stunning brunette of yours. Alright?" Resher grinned as he came up to the man bound in the chair and set his hand on his shoulder.
"Alice, sweetheart, please have a seat." He pointed to a chair that had been set up for her so she could watch and be out of the way for Vic to work, there was another chair beside hers, where Resher or Vic could sit but it was not offered to anyone yet. Alice glanced at the three men she could see, not knowing that Biff was above them, and gently perched herself in the chair as she was told to. She was starting to wonder more why she was here, though the shape of the man and even his muffled voice was familiar to her. She didn't know yet who it was but she had an unpleasant chill just being this close to whoever it was. "A lesson...?" Victor looked at the form in the chair, familiar with the clothing and the particular brand of stench that belonged to certain egos in the office he cared little for himself. He couldn't place a name or face, but the sense of what Resher wanted him to be creatively accomplishing was becoming stronger. "Alright," he nodded, looking at the chair-bound man and forming thoughts about his opportunities to perform such teaching, though not knowing why. He didn't need to, really - an order was given and he wasn't going to say no to a little fun. He grinned back at Resher. "I've left my gun behind. I didn't know it would be this kind of meeting. How creative...?" I'll teach him a lesson, Biff thought, his gaze burning with his desire to come down to the floor below. He tugged harder at the cuff, the creaking and complaining of the metal scratching eerily out into the large space. "Let me tell you what he's done and then you decide a fit punishment for his crimes." Resher grinned and stepped back, holding his arms out to the dark shadows around them, he seemed unbothered by the sounds which crept into the space. "Remember to think of your girl.. think of what you might do if it was her or perhaps even a sister.. do you have any sisters Vic?" Resher shrugged as if that wasn't important and he was only giving Vic an idea of what he wanted. He slapped the 'hooded' man in the back of the head, and scowled. "Dirtbag here has been stalking one of my other and much more valuable employees for some time. He even went so far as to drug her and force himself on her. She managed to get away and spent a few days in the hospital afterward." His eyes focused on Alice for a moment and he watched her face go a little pale as he revealed that bit of information, his gaze left her and settled on Victor. "See she told me she had a bad case of the flu.. suppose she didn't want anyone to know what happened.." He shrugged and sighed, his hand gripping the bound man's shoulder tightly as the man tried to deny the accusations from behind his gag. "I spoke to the hospital, of course, and got the records.. then the surveillance tapes from that night.. and I discovered something interesting.. when I finally had a chance to take a look at it all. I'm just sorry I was too busy to do this sooner." He slapped the bound man again and yanked the hood off to reveal Chad beneath it. Throughout the description Alice had found herself increasingly uncomfortable and when Resher stared her down, she knew without a doubt that he was talking about her and that he knew all of what she'd tried to keep from him and Biff. She'd told Vic breifly but hadn't really gotten into the details too much and she wasn't surprised when the hood came off. She now knew why she had been asked to come along tonight, she was the victim in the crimes Resher accused Chad of. She wondered how angry Resher was that she'd lied about having the flu, he didn't appear to direct any anger toward her, but that didn't mean there wasn't any. Chad blinked as the hood was pulled off, the bay wasn't very brightly lit so it didn't take long for his eyes to focus to see Vic and Alice and he bucked in the chair. He 'screamed' behind his gag, some of his words understandable as he called Alice a b*tch and a wh*re and said he was going to tear her apart for this. Big words for a man bound, gagged, and at the mercy or lack of mercy of Daddy and Vic.Venge's eyes narrowed as the tale told took form in the face of his colleague. "Chaaaaad. That's so very disapointing of you. Such potential and such... a f*cking ass," he spat, coming closer to put his foot up on the seat between the man's legs to hold him and the chair still. "Do you know what you've done? Hah? Do you?" The rattle of the chair was mirrored by the rattle of the cuff against the rail above them. Biff had heard every word as the echo carried upward. He wasn't gagged like Chad, but he could be just as easily silenced by the promised bullet if he interfered. That didn't mean he didn't want to come down closer to the action to smell the blood on the teeth that were bound to hit the floor now. Alice looked from Daddy to Chad as he threatened and insulted her even from his compromised position. What had she done to make him dislike her so much? She couldn't remember ever being less than nice to him.. other than turning down his advances and even that she'd done politely at first. Her gaze swept to Venge as he propped his foot up on Chad's chair, she was curious to see what he'd do to the man, knowing that Chad was the one who'd been coming after her. She also wondered how far Daddy planned for this to go. Daddy seemed pleased to see Venge step right into his role and he stood behind Chad smiling with the beginings of approval in his gaze. He was actually a little surprised that Biff had managed to keep himself quiet at finding out about Chad's involvement with his sister. Then again this was Biff and he knew how to handle himself and could in the most volitile of situations. He tipped his toes forward, resting precariously close to the man's prized possession with no intention of simply tickling him for laughs. The boots were steel-toed and rocked the chair, carefully keeping it from tipping over into Resher. "You've gotten it entirely wrong, Chaddy. B*tch is a term for dogs and the only dog here is about to be neutered." He glanced up to Resher, wondering if this was planned out enough for his own tools and case to have been brought ahead. He hadn't brought his gun, and if by 'creative' meant he was to use items at hand, so be it. "My case? Is it here?" Chad tried to close himself off to the intrusion of the shoe he straddled, but his legs were bound and his feet were off the floor as the chair rocked. The chain on the cuff twisted as Biff turned his wrist, trying to pry the links loose against the stroner railing. He watched, and he'd continue to watch, but hearing what had been said, he still wanted the pieces - whatever was left behind - to tear apart more. The links bent but hadn't pulled apart enough yet for the chain to break, but he kept trying.Daddy chuckled, the sound was cold as he motioned to the brunette who was given a front row seat to the show. "Alice, be a love and get Vic's case. It's on the front seat." He gestured to the limo that had brought them to the wharehouse and slowly walked in a circle around Chad and Vic as if he was supervising any normal transaction. Alice simply nodded to the request, which she really didn't have the option of saying no to. Vic's case? She'd never seen what was inside and didn't know the details of his prior work as she was mostly kept outside that sphere of Resher's operations. With a glance to Vic and Chad she rose from her chair and went to the limo, returning a moment later with the case in hand. She stepped beside Vic, holding the case for him to take. Resher pointed out a small table that was set up just outside the circle of lights where Vic could set out his tools if he so desired.Vic grinned wickedly like a boy catching his first fish, setting the chair roughly back down on all points, letting Chad feel the hard seat thump against his spine as long as he was capable of feeling anything. He turned to Alice for the case and offered her a different smile, one that said it would all be okay and that he thought nothing less of her although she'd told him nothing about this maggot's intrusion in her personal space that he considered was now half his own. "Thank you. I'm sorry for what you're about to see," he muttered, certain that she might be a little less forgiving toward him not telling her more about his own work. He took the case to the table and the locks slid open to reveal gadgetry and implements with very few dossiers and paperclips. He glanced back to Alice, then to Daddy, wondering if she was to return to her seat or if she could be excused from watching. He couldn't sway Resher's decision either way. If he wanted her to stay, it couldn't affect what needed to be done. A pair of dark gloves were pulled out that seemed large at first, but he fiddled with something in each fingertip, like he was popping knuckles, releasing a graphite barb in the end of the glove fingers that curled out like talons as he slid them in place. Once they were on, he did pop his knuckles, bringing with him a large, graphite-handled hunter's blade as he came back beside Chad whose back was turned to the table. "Now that I'm sure I have your attention..," he said, standing before Chad and punching him across the right jaw with the butt-end of the knife handle in his hand. He didn't let Chad look away long, turning the man's face back toward him with a taloned finger. "I'm going to enjoy this," he hissed, close enough to the man's face to bite. "Don't be." Alice murmured quietly in return to Vic's apology of what she might see, she'd been shielded from the worst of Resher's dealings but she wasn't naive nor was she too dumb to know the kind of things that went on in dark places like this. Her own brother had worked for Resher since he was in highschool and she'd been in the edges of this world for just as long until Resher noticed her a few years ago and fully pulled her into his grasp as his assistant in this past year. Alice watched as Vic moved away and slowly began to reveal a side of himself she had not yet seen. Daddy was in charge here even if he'd given Vic creative control, with a wicked smile he put his arm around Alice and escorted her back to her seat, shifting it slightly to make sure she had a good view of what Vic would be doing to Chad. He wondered how Biff was liking the show so far and what he would do after it ended or if he managed to get out of his cuffs before that. The thought of it had Resher chuckling again as he took Alice's coat from her and gently pushed her into her seat after kissing her temple in an almost fatherly fashion. "You've got a special audience tonight Vic.. I expect you'll put on an impressive show for us wont you?" He already liked how the opening was going and he stowed his coat along with Alice's on the back seat of the car. "You have no idea how special," he muttered, challenging Chad's gagged response, but not speaking quite so loud for Daddy yet. His fingers slid off the man's chin, clawing narrow lines in their wake. He turned the blade and held the point to Chad's cheek. "It's a pity I didn't know sooner, before you'd become stupid, Chaddy. I normally cut to the apology, hand over a few bandages and call it square." Vic's head shook and his expression remained dark. "Apologies won't help you now. Screaming might...," he paused and turned the blade for shallow cut beneath the man's eye, holding up the reddened metal tip for him to see. "At least it might help you feel better until you pass out." The metal links strained more and Biff's wrist strained and tore under the sharp edges that held him bound to the railing above the scene. He only needed the space to pull them apart from each other. He didn't care if the cuff stayed attached for now. There were no less than a dozen keys around for good reason, just not where he seated at the moment. He turned his wrist again to pull the links against each other and finally the chain broke loose. He smiled with the small triumph and worked his way down the catwalk to the far end away from the action for only a moment to drop himself down unseen onto piled crates. Daddy circled around Vic and Chad one more time as if taunting the bound man with the hope that he might end this, but he didn't. Resher settled himself in the chair next to Alice, his fingers rubbing over his chin and he seemed to be deep in thought for a few minutes. He cleared his throat feeling Alice flinch slightly beside him as Vic sliced Chad's face. "I'm.. a little hurt that you didn't come to me about this Alice. We're supposed to be family.. " He shook his head slightly, his dark gaze meeting hers as he expressed his disappointment. He had no plans to harm her in anyway - at least not physically, her punishment was being here now, witnessing what Vic would do and for her little secret to be revealed to him and to Biff. He pulled a remote from his pocket, twirling it in his hand but let her sit there nervously waiting for what he'd control with it and what else might be shown. Even though she flinched at the slice she had been transfixed on Victor and how he moved and acted toward Chad. She'd never seen him work and this side of his personality was new to her. She didn't think less of him for it and would have continued to watch but her attention was pulled away for a few moments by Resher. She nodded to his comments, she knew better than to apologize for not telling him - sorry would get her nothing. "I was ashamed." She told him quietly, being honest about why she'd tried to keep the incidents to herself. He heard her and it was enough for his expression to darken more, his eyes slowly going wild with anger. "You heard her... You had no right. You took something you weren't given... permission... and you left her with pain and scars, Chaddy. Don't think I'll stop with just leaving you ashamed. Guilt never worked on me... won't now either." The man was visibly horrified, uncertain what Vic would do next. His face throbbed where he bled and he couldn't hide or flinch far from the blade or Vic's reach. He watched the blade and the claws, not knowing what pain he would suffer next. For a moment, he glanced to Alice, huffing out harsh breaths in growing panic as if pleading with her would get Vic off him.Biff walked up around the perimeter, only where Chad could see him while the others' backs were to him. Daddy knew he was here and wouldn't be far if he did get loose. He wasn't discounting that fact and was carefully approaching with a finger to his lips - a 'SHH' against the grin for Chad to say nothing as he came up behind his sister.Daddy felt a stab at her soft admission, he thought of her in a manner similar to his own daughters and his anger toward Chad rose a notch, just in time to hear what Vic was telling the man. For a moment Daddy almost changed his mind about this next part of Alice's punishment, he toyed with the remote in his hand. The surveillance tape was ready for him to merely press play and the screen behind the table with Vic's tools would come to life with the sounds and images of her protest and resistance even in the drugged state she'd been in after Chad had slipped something into her drink. Finally with a sigh almost like regret, Resher hit the button. "I understand." He told her quietly, a lesson was a lesson and he knew after this, Alice would never keep something from him again. "I forgive you."Alice was aware of what Vic was doing and saying even though her attention was focused toward Resher and what he might do to her. Once he started the tape and she realized what was playing, she wished that he'd had Vic hit her! She gasped softly, the sound from the tape was low but with not much other noise in the bay the sound of Chad slapping her and her soft cry was clear. Resher was well aware that Biff would also see and hear and he'd be close if he got free, but Alice wasn't - it was all part of her lesson and her punishment for keeping this from Resher. Her eyes closed and her hands shifted to grip the sides of the seat of her chair to keep herself from jumping out of it to smash the screen. "What's this then, Chaddy? Birthday vids? Doesn't sound like fun and games, does it?" Vic's attention went to the screen only a moment before another punch sailed against the cut cheek, spraying blood and spittle. "I'm sorry, Chad... I didn't hear you. Did you say 'yes'?" He mocked the man's hisses and quiet threats from the video that played, hearing only him and not Alice. Biff was silent a moment before taking a step forward to put his hands on her shoulders. He had no idea.. he'd thought it had been Vic that roughed her up and had the boys take a turn at him for it. His own apology wouldn't cut it, now. It was too late for 'sorry' or for guilt to play a part. If he didn't hold onto her now, he'd be pushing Vic out of the way to get at Chad himself.Chad had no time to respond, shake his head, deny anything and couldn't say anything. The gag choked him as the blood trickled inside his mouth from the punch and seeped around his lips. All he could do was stare at Vic, still defiant and trying to talk around the fabric. "She's a fun f*ck," he hissed out.Daddy was more than satisfied with Alice's reprimand and he relaxed back in his own chair to watch Chad's continue. He had no expectation of his executive making it out of this room, except in buckets for Abby's pigs. He glanced at Biff as the man came up behind his sister but he showed no sign of being angry that he'd gotten loose - it had been expected. Alice flinched when someone touched her shoulders but not enough to move out of the gentle grasp, she knew it wasn't Resher as he was still beside her and it wasn't Vic because she could hear his voice and him hitting Chad. She opened her eyes and turned her head to see exactly who she feared it would be.. Biff. Her head shook slightly as if by doing so it would make him not know what had happened, she opened her mouth to try to say something to him, anything that might make this better but there were no words that could do so. Her eyes alone pleaded with him to forgive her, shining with her pain and shame for the whole thing. She understood now exactly what Resher was doing, this wasn't just Chad's lesson, it was hers as well. He'd exposed her painful secret to the people she loved most and had tried to keep it from. If she'd told Resher the truth, he would have taken care of it quietly, neatly, privately.. Lesson learned, the hard way.Biff was angry, but tried not to let Alice think it was at her. His eyes were lighter than hers and their crystalline fury was more difficult to disguise even with the grin and the kneading at her shoulders that was meant as whatever slight reassurance he could offer. He stayed as a hovering shadow behind her as his attention was pulled back to the events on the screen and the action in the room laid out before them. If he took care of it himself, Vic was still a target for not protecting his sister or telling him about it, either. He wasn't convinced that the man knew nothing about this until now.Vic heard the additional whispers in the video and glanced back to see Biff in the wings with the others now. He couldn't pretend that the additional audience didn't affect him and he turned back to stare Chad down for the commentary. He was hardly kind now, digging the knife into the man's shoulder near nothing vital that would allow him the peace of dying quickly. "Say anything like that again and your tongue comes out next." What had happened between her and Chad had been prior to her involvement with Vic, though close enough to it that it was somewhat understandable that Biff would think he'd been the one to rough her up. If he paid attention to the video enough he'd see and hear the clues that showed this was before Vic, particularly Chad's references to her being single, alone, completely at his 'mercy' with no one to protect her and how happy he'd be to take care of her again and that he planned to - every chance he got. Resher hadn't made up the stalking part, Chad never intended for the incident on the screen to be a one time thing. He even made a reference to Larson and Devin as he was tearing at Al's clothes and yanking her by her hair to try to keep her still. Alice didn't need the tape to refresh her memory of the events, she knew them all to well. Her hand let go of the chair and she reached up to grip Biff's hand tightly instead, there was a part of her - the same part that had kept her from telling them before, that worried both Vic and Biff would be angry with her or simply turn away from her after seeing this and knowing the truth about what had happened. Chad screamed out around the muffling gag, coughing out blood from where he'd bitten his jaw from the punches. The raw metal stilled any ability he had to squirm against the bindings that held him down on that side and he tried frantically now with the other arm to wrestle himself free. The pain filled his eyes with terror and tears. Vic wasn't going to play by any of the rules he knew.Vic turned the blade just slightly before pulling it free, making the incision ragged and ugly. He wiped the blade off on the sleeve of the useless arm. "I was wrong. I don't think the screaming will help you at all. In fact it hurts my ears. Maybe you should stop now," he said, threatening the blade at Chad's throat. "Vic!" Daddy's voice barked out as he brought the knife to Chad's neck. "Don't put him out of his misery yet." He warned that he wanted the man to suffer for at least a little bit longer. "Not till he's suffered as much as Alice.. no.. not as much.. more than she has." Alice nearly let go of Biff's hand, her grip releasing as she was unsure how he felt right now watching what Vic did and what Chad had done to her. She cringed a little at hearing her own voice as it had been that night - scared, confused, weak from the drug he'd slipped in her drink, making her unable to fight back the way she'd wanted to. Between Chad's comments and threats were her protests and pleas for him to stop, then more of his anger and violence toward her when she did manage to claw and slap his face. She nearly got away from him at one point but wasn't able to run for the door or get to it fast enough before he caught her. Alice looked at Chad, all bloody in the chair now, scared of Vic and what he'd do to him and she didn't feel bad at all. She felt strange, cold, almost happy about it. Chad found it in himself to laugh despite the pain as he relived the same moments Alice did as the tape played. Daddy didn't want him dead yet and maybe not at all. Maybe the man would call off his dog and he could get himself patched up. "I'll do her again... and again while you watch, pretty boy. You don't have the balls for it," he stammered out around throbs of pain. Vic turned the blade away from the man's neck. "Don't I? Shame he didn't let me cut your voice short and I had to hear that. I mean.. you really shouldn't give me ideas, hm?" The blade was turned downward and slammed into the wood of the chair between the man's legs. He didn't watch at all, not caring if he severed anything or not. Even Biff cringed as he saw the angle and the drive of the blade into the chair. The sound of splintering wood echoed through the warehouse bay.The others might not have appreciated it as much as he did, but Daddy was thoroughly enjoying the show. He didn't plan to spare Chad but wanted this to play out a little more before it ended. He found himself laughing and cheering Chad on a bit - giving him some false hope. "That's it Chad, don't you give in so easy." If any of the others looked at him they would know he was only taunting Chad but the bound man wouldn't see it with Vic between them. Alice physically flinched, jerking slightly in a startle at the sound and force of the knife slamming into the wood of the chair. Her eyes widened in surprise and despite seeing the man she loved act in such a way she felt no fear of him or doubt about her affection for him. She did question whether or not he'd look at her the same after this or if it would change things between them. When this had all first started, there had been something in his expression which was reassuring but would it still be there later? She wondered much the same about things between herself and her brother who was standing behind her and witnessing it all as well. There was no sound at first, the scream kept from coming out by the abrupt wall of pain that hit him and took his breath away. He'd become quite pale and it was clear that shock was working its way through him as he fought not to hyperventilate. The blood pooled quickly and started to trickle off the seat of the chair around the knife Vic left behind this time, ensuring he would no longer squirm.Vic took a step away and paced a little, cracking his knuckles again and waiting for the wail or for the man to go limp as the shock worked through him. When neither satisfied him right away, he came after him, the taloned hands grabbing hold of Chad's stained shirt and the flesh underneath as he pulled him up almost off the floor with the chair. "You're not doing anyone any favors and you'll be pissing through a tube when I'm done. Oh, don't let me get your hopes up like that. That's all that you have left though, isn't it?" He let go of the shirt and slapped him lightly to keep him conscious. Alice watched Vic as he paced, she'd never seen him like this and had never imagined he'd be anything like the man she saw going at Chad with such rage and brutal intensity. She gasped softly but couldn't take her eyes off him as he moved back to grab the man in the chair. She felt strangely excited, leaning forward in her chair slightly, maybe it was all the charged emotions in the air affecting her, or something.. "Haha!" Daddy clapped his hands, smiling and chuckling at how Vic tore into Chad, nothing like some good violence to get him in a good mood. He hadn't expected Vic to disappoint him but had been concerned he might try to tone things down with Alice there, since she wasn't normally a part of this side of business. Fade to Black ....
