The smooth movement of the car and quiet hum of it's engine was enough to lull many people to sleep but Bron was struggling to wake herself up. She felt a bit groggy like she'd had a bit much to drink or took heavy duty cold medicine that made your head feel think. "Mmm." She hummed quietly and licked her lips, she tried to move her hand to rub her eyes and that was when she realized her wrists were cuffed together behind her back. That gave her a start and she sort of jerked herself off the seat, she meant to sit up but was off balnce and almost ended up on the floor. With another soft groan she fell back to the bench, noticing how plush and cushy it was.. she was in a very nice car which made her suddenly doubt she'd been arrested and just didn't remember it. She lay there for a moment trying to get her bearings and realized there was no sound within the car, no music playing or people talking.. what the heck was going on? Bron took a deep breath and slowly shifted, pushing and turning until she got herself sitting upright. The wave of dizziness that cause almost made her collapse back down again, but she stayed up, leaning her head against the seat for a few moments.
The driver had been listening and watching his mirror from time to time to see if she'd wake up. The reflection of his startling gaze would be nearly all she'd see for now if she sat up, and perhaps a bit of the thin, unshaven shadow and the narrowing of his gaze as his cheeks rounded with a relieved but short-lived grin. "I wouldn't sit up too fast. The headache's a b*tch," he said over his shoulder and the constant drone of the engine.'
Her eyes opened with the 'sudden' sound of the voice from the front, her gaze focused on the mirrior and she nearly glared at whoever was reflected there. She couldn't see much of them other than the eyes, but it was something to direct her gaze at. "I'll try to remember that, now that I'm already sitting up.. thanks." She closed her eyes again, a moment of silence passing - he was right about the hangover. "Why am I.. " She shifted her hands and wrists. "..handcuffed, in your backseat?"
"For my safety and yours... in case you decided getting upset was a good idea, or something," he shrugged. They weren't his wrists that were bound, so he didn't really care at the moment. "It's not my backseat. It's on loan. Nice, isn't it? I could really get used to it. You should too. You're going to be in it a while."
"In case? Hmm I think that's pretty much a gaurantee when you wake up hand cuffed in the back of a strange man's car.. or loaner." She forced a smile as she added the last, considering kicking him in the head but getting herself killed in an accident wasn't going to help anything. "Pull over and let me out." She demanded, rather calmly.
"Yes it is, and no, I can't," he grinned, glancing up to see her glaring and considering a myriad of unwholesome means of his demise. "You and the car are to be delivered safely. Like I said - get used to it back there."
"Of course you can.." She protested quietly, shifting closer to the door as if she just needed to lean against it to help hold her upright, acting as if she felt dizzy. Bron watched him in the mirror to see if he bought it or not.
"Alright... I -can- but the answer is still no." He watched her shift and squirm, seeming pleased with her discomfort. "Just enjoy the ride. Another couple hours to go," he warned.
"Fine. Don't say I didn't give you the chance." She'd make sure he got nailed to the wall for this, where she may have tried to make things easier if he'd let her go. Behind her she fumbled with the lock and door handle tossing the door open and trying to shift to jump out feet first.
