Today was the five year anniversary of their first date and Wes was trying to make the night special since Billy had to work all day. Her blue eyes sparkled as she set her plan into motion, candles placed to make the mood more romantic, pillows and blankets on the back deck for thier interlude, his favorite beer chilled and a basket of flower petals waiting for the final touch. While she waited for his call, she got herself ready, her hair down and fluffed out all 'sultry-like', she dressed herself in a special outfit with more lace than anything, a little pink sweater that really didn't fit but gave the outfit just the right touch. Wes giggled as she slipped into her very high heels and had to bite it back as the phone rang, she answered with a smile and Billy let her know he'd be home in ten minutes. She hung up and rushed to put the last touches on everything, she lit the candles on the porch and turned off all the lights but one small dim lamp inside. The flower petals were strewn from the front door to the open door of the deck to lead Billy out for his surpise which was her, perched on the railing with his beer.. which she'd opened for him. She felt silly and excited, hoping he would like the surprise, she fussed with getting just the right pose as she heard him pulling up front and then coming into the house. He found her easily enough and the smile on his face as he looked her over made her feel nearly giddy. One leg was curled up on the rail, the other hanging down, her pose inviting, eyebrow arched and her hand held the cold beer near her thigh. "Thirsty?" She asked him, licking her lips as he started to step toward her.
"No, I just came for the snacks." The voice that answered wasn't Billy's being thrown behind her off the deck, nor was its speaker any sort of dummy. It was dark and rough with an accent clearly not from around these woods. A man taller than Billy rose up on the far side of the rail by the woman's propped foot and hopped cleanly onto the deck as if lifting himself onto a curb at a busstop. "I'm sorry. Am I early? Looked like the party's started already."
Wesley jumped at the sound of the unfamiliar voice in the darkness and then let out a small gasp as the man came up over the rail, she dropped the beer and steadied herself with her hands so she wouldn't tumble backward off the railing. once steadied, she came down off the rail to stand and brought her arms around herself, pulling the sweater to try to cover up some.
"What the.." Billy's words didn't finish as the man sailed up out of the darkness and he reached for Wes to try to pull her behind him or shuffle her back into the house if he could. There was a strange sort of recognition in Billy's eyes, like he was trying to place what was so familiar about Azarius. "This is a private party.. Wes.. baby, get in the house.. call the cops."
Cady was only a step behind Azarius and once he made his entrance she leapt up to land behind Billy, blocking his escape. She looked to Az, a chilling smile perched on her lips. "Awww.. baby what are we celebrating?" She taunted, licking her own lips as she got ready to have a little fun.

"Too early for the cops. We haven't disturbed the peace, yet," Az said, looking forlorn at the lost beer on the planks where it had been dropped and broken. He picked up the sheared bottle and admired the jagged edges. "Now that's a work of art, baby. Nicely done," he said to Wes with a smile, that turned to a scowl as he looked at Billy and held the bottle up toward him. "Just like this one's a piece of work, isn't he? Cady, don't let her get to the phone."
Wes took a step back from the intruders or at least tried to, glancing from the broken bottle to Billy and then to the girl who was laughing quietly. What she didn't realize is Cady knew she was being sized up and found it amusing. The girl looked petite and Wes thought she had a chance against her, she made her move to try to get through the door into the house.
Cady was fast and strong, Wes barely got two steps before she was yanked and twisted around to face the men again. Cady's fingers tangled in her hair and she held her arm behind her back, making Wes arch up a little. "Like I was going to.. really?" She laughed again and pushed Wes to take a couple of steps toward Az. "You want me to hold her while you slice her up?"
"Get your f*cking hands off her, you little b*tch!" Billy shouted, taking a step toward Cady with his fist cocked back, he had no issue with hitting the girl.
Azarius grabbed the hand that Billy pulled back and twisted it behind the man's back, his other hand holding the bottle to the man's throat. "Don't insult my sister," he hissed, knicking the man's skin a tiny bit. "Oops, I slipped." His apology was hollow and coldly insincere as he turned to Cady sharply. "No. She's coming back with us," he said, sparing the woman's life. He gave the heavenly clad creature a briefly warm and approving smile that melted away to a gruesome gape full of jaggedly sharp teeth a moment later and his eyes glimmered red off the candle light. "I'm going to enjoy celebrating with her, but if you want something to cut up... ol' Billy boy here will do just fine."
Billy would have continued to insult if not for the broken bottle that cut him and the strength that held him, he wasn't a complete idiot and was trying to avoid getting his throat slashed. His mind scrambled for a way out but he wasn't coming up with anything good, he stared at Wes and his anger rose with Az's comments. "Don't you dare touch her, you sick f*ck!" He insulted the man this time rather than his sister.
Wes felt a second of relief as Az told Cady 'no' in reply to cutting her up, but fear sweetened her scent with his following comments and what she saw in his face after the brief warm smile. Her eyes went wide as she gasped again, her knees trembling and weak. She didn't faint but was obviously scared by what she saw. "Why.. why are you doing this to us?" She managed to ask, unable to pull her gaze away from Az and Billy.
Cady leaned slightly closer to Wes, taking in the rich scent and giving Az a slight nod and smile. She replied to the woman's question first. "Didn't Billy tell you? He's been very naughty.." Her voice was a low hiss and she glared at the man she spoke of. "He killed our brother.. so now we have to take something from him.. you." She whispered the last word in Wesley's ear, shifting her grip a little. "Don't insult my brother, pig." She growled at Billy from behind Wesley's shoulder. "She's not yours anymore.. she's Az's baby now." A slight twitch of a smile touched her lips as she lifted her gaze to Az. "You wanna switch?" With a slight laugh she shoved Wes hard to make her stumble forward for Az to catch.

Az pressed the glass to Billy's neck again enough for the blood to flow a little more freely just as Cady pushed the woman toward him. He sent Billy and his new wound toward Cady for her to play with in return. He caught the woman in a fluid sweep as he let the man go. "She's a much prettier dance partner," he agreed. "Tango?" He offered Wes the sultry dance as he reached for her hands.
Wes let out a small cry finally as she was shoved forward by Cady and caught by Az, she tried to move back away from him. Her head shook in a clear 'no' but for the first few seconds she couldn't find the words to go with it. She jerked her hands away, trying to make it difficult for him to capture them as she started to swing at his face.
Cady liked this dance and she even laughed a little, grabbing Billy by the front of his shirt and yanking him close. "I'm going to enjoy this." She whispered the promise with a cold smile, swinging him head first into one side of the glass door next to them, with her strength the door shattered, cutting the man some more. She jerked him back and swung him a little to send him flying through the other side of the set of patio doors. He hit the island in the kitchen and then slammed to the floor. Cady looked back at Az and winked. "I think she likes you." She turned to follow Billy into the kitchen, kicking him in the ribs, hard enough that his body lifted with the force of the kick.
"She played soccer as a kid," Az said with a shrug as Cady went to town on Billy boy. His hands were quick to pull the woman's from the air as she swatted at him. "Ah, ah, ah, sweetheart, not in front of the kids. Save that for when I get you alone," he grinned, keeping her hands wrapped in his though he didn't pull or shove, letting her test him. His face appeared normal again, though his stare was no less intense than before, drinking her into his vision and his senses as he took a deep breath. His eyes closed as if savoring a fine wine. "The finest bouquet. Yeah!"
The heels had a pointed toe which Wes tried to use to her advantage, she kicked at Azarius as hard as she could, at the same time trying to twist to get her hands free from his grip. The houses out here were far apart and she wasn't sure if anyone would hear her if she screamed, but she tried anyway.
Cady waited a moment for Billy to try to move before kicking him again, this time her boot connected with his mouth, making him choke on a few teeth and sputter blood to the floor. She glanced over her shoulder as Wes screamed, she chuckled. "Oh yeah, she definitely likes you."
"Oh, that's cute. Let's see what else you've got," Az nodded happily, eager and egging her on as the scream cut into the evening air and the kick cut into his leg. It stung enough to wake him up even more. He glanced through the shattered door to the pile of remains that had been Billy. "Looks like he's not got much left. Easy, Cade. Save some for later. Good for dipping, hm?"

Wes turned to look through the door at the heap that was her boyfriend. The gasp was clear and she cried out to him. "Billy!" The alarm raising in her voice as she twisted back to glare at the man who taunted her and her attempts to fight him, she was riled up enough to do two things she never did.. "f*ck you!" She swore and then spit in Az's face, her legs swinging wild kicks at him.
Cady pouted a little but shrugged, Azarius was right, stuid Billy was all broken. Her eyebrow arched as she watched Wes freak out, this was turning out to be more fun than she thought it would be. She stepped through the busted door and grabbed one of the blankets Wes had set out on the deck, she grinned as she saw the rest of the six pack of beer. She wondered if there was more and if Az would help her carry it or if he'd have his hands full of the fiesty gal they were taking back with them.
Azarius chuckled as she struggled and threw kicks at him, then let go of one hand to grab her leg up and hold it against his own. "Careful what you wish for, sweetheart," he warned her. He wasn't above fulfilling that wish right now except that Cady was with him and he'd left her without a suitable playmate if he got himself busy. Something piqued Cady's interest and he glanced to see her with the blanket and pausing. "What did you find?"
Wes was silent and wide eyed as Azarius grab her leg and held her, his warning working it's way through her with a chill that had her now free hand shoving at his shoulder. He glanced away and Wes took the chance to lean in and bite the side of his neck, clenching down on the skin as hard as she could, trying to hurt him enough that he'd let her go and she could run.
Cady tossed the blanket aside, she was going to use it to wrap Billy like a human burrito, and glanced to Az. "Beer!" She grinned and then her eyes widened with shock and she busted out laughing at Wes biting him. "Ohhh shit... it looks like love!"
He was about say something in response to the beer when he was startled by the nibbles. He let her sink in and then he began to laugh as well. Turning back slowly, the red was again in his eyes, not just a reflection of the candles. He licked his lips, this time around the jagged teeth he'd flashed her before. "Girl after my own heart. Definitely keeping you," he promised.
His laughter made her release her grip on his neck, she thought she'd broken the skin but the way he looked at her had her cringing back. She shook her head, scared and not knowing what to think as she saw the red in his eyes and the jagged teeth again. "N-no.. please.. just go.." She stammered, her mind whirling with what she'd seen and heard in the short time these two had been there.
Cady continued to chuckle to herself as she went inside with the blanket, punching Billy a few more times as she wrapped him up to take home for the rest of the pack to share. He was alive but in bad shape and not struggling at this point, Cady patted the blanket and shifted around the kitchen, curiously poking about. "Mmm better.. " She commented when she found the case of beer, there would be more to go around for the others to wash thier dinner down with. She took the case in one hand and reached to heft the rolled up man onto her shoulder. "You ready Az?" She asked, glancing toward him and the woman.

"Go? Good idea, but um, you're coming along for the ride - you and the doggie bag," he said, patting her leg and letting it go. "Hey Cady, see if you can find her something to cover up in," he requested, looking the woman over and keeping her from darting around him. He licked his lip again. "I go fast and I'd hate to see you cut up by the branches on the way, sweetheart. Beautiful outfit, but really not very practical. Better off without it completely, don't you think?"
For a few seconds Wes could only stare at Az, she hadn't really thought he would let her go or simply leave but the way he answered as if it was the most normal thing for her to be going with them. She pulled her arms around herself, her hand resting low on her throat as she shook her head to disagree with him that she'd be better off without the bit of covering she did have. She turned her gaze into the house and bit her lip to hold in most of the pained sound at the sight of Billy in the blanket which was already soaking through with his blood around where his head was covered.
Cady unceremoniusly dropped Billy back down to the floor with a thud and gently set the beer on the counter. "Sure.." She spun on her heel and darted deeper into the house, coming back with a soft plush robe and a small bag she'd thrown a few other things into. She shoved the robe toward Az and Wes first, but smiled more warmly at the other woman now. "You have really pretty clothes.." She held onto the bag for now so Az could get Wes set. "Grabbed a few things she might appreciate later.. or let me borrow." She grinned, the more playful sparkle shining in her eyes for a moment.
"Glad you like her," he winked at his sister for her teasing and for the thanks of quick work accomplished. He took the robe and held it up for the woman to slip into. "Just like me grabbing things to appreciate later, myself. Nothing left for you here, so just put it on and we'll go."
"Thank you." Wes was quiet now and not struggling, she heard the comment about her clothes but it just seemed so out of place with everything, she didn't know what to think. Her attention slowly turned to Azarius as he held the robe for her to slip into, nothing made sense to her right now. "Why are you doing this?" She practically whispered the question, she'd heard the comments they'd made about Billy and saw how they treated him but even when she fought and lashed out, neither of them really hurt her. She moved to put the robe on as told but kept her gaze on Azarius, wary of what would happen next, wondering where they planned to take her.
Cady shrugged, trying to act as if she didn't like Wes but Az wouldn't be convinced, she glanced at Wes and set the bag within reach, she had Billy and the beer to carrry, Az could carry the light bag. "I'm ready when you are." She let him know quietly and went back to scoop her items up, the broken glass tinkling off the blanket as she lifted Billy from the floor again.

"Why? Don't suppose Billy ever told you he went huntin', did he? Been acting strange, has he? A few nightmares now and then, maybe working more than usual the past few weeks, hm?" Az helped her slip the robe on and curled around her in a nearly loving embrace as it slipped on her shoulders. "He took our brother away from us and he's not coming back. We're just returning that little favor. Right, so packed and ready. Time to go Wesley," he said, calling her by name with a wink. "Oh, ride or walk? Your choice."
"There is no way she's going to be able to walk where we're going in those shoes." Cady commented with a sigh, she wasn't trying to be rude but looking at the high heels and the rest of the outfit, Wes would break her neck before they got anywhere near the den.
Wes brought her hands up over her arms as Azarius replied, she nodded her head to the things he said, Billy had been acting strange ever since 'that weekend'. "But why.. this? Why are you taking me? I didn't have anything to do with your brother.. if you know he did it, why don't you go to the police?"
Az laughed and hugged her a little tighter. "The police?! Sweetheart, the police are as useless here as a two-legged stool. Not even that useful, not for my family at any rate. We are our own law here and have been for decades. He broke the worst of them, crossed the line, took one of ours, so... here we are again. Oh, and there should have been a little treat bag for Fido for the both of you...," he confided with a wink and a suggestion that she not question him too hard. "But I liked you enough to keep you whole."
"Oh." Wes got the point he was trying to make and her eyes studied his face as she slowly nodded. "I see.... I mean.. thank you.. for keeping me whole." Her color had paled a little with the realization that she was originally meant to be as broken as Billy was and much worse. She glanced at Cady, goodness the girl was strong to hold up Billy as if he weighed little. "I ah um.. I guess.. a ride would be best.. with the shoes and the way I'm dressed." She was glad she wasn't being torn apart but wasn't sure what he was going to do to her instead, she was very scared but tried to be brave.
He winced a little and nodded. "You can leave the shoes here. I trust you're not going to run off. Drop them then hang on," he said, reaching down to lift her over his shoulder.
She bit her lower lip, closing her eyes as if bracing herself internally to allow him to lift her and carry her off, she didn't want to make things worse for herself by fighting but it was hard not to. Wes slipped her feet free of the heels and let them drop to the deck, she held onto Azarius, digging in a little with her fingers. She kept telling herself not to scream, her eyes stung with the tears which she let fall silently as she allowed a stranger to kidnap her.
Cady saw that Wesley was cooperating and she took a deep breath to check the scent. "Looks like we're ready." With a bit of a smile she leapt over the railing and started off toward home, knowing Az wouldn't be far behind her.
He grinned. "More than," he chuckled and followed Cady to the railing, leaping up as easily as before. "Hang on as tight as you want, sweetheart. I like having my fur pulled," he said, his form melting and shifting as he spoke, billowing and filling out the loose shirt to near bursting and bristling with a thick glossy coat over the muscles that held her like a doll. He sailed down to the ground on the far side and bounded after his sister, swinging the smaller sack of her belongings in his other hand.
