September 23, 2010 late night
Jaime didn't know exactly what time it was as she finally reached the edges of the town she'd never been to except for during the time her mother had lived here while pregnant. Jaime had been born after the family abandoned their farm, which happened to be all the way on the other side of town. She saw the lights of the minimart and headed from the dark road into the bright interior of the store, she had a little money in her pocket, enough to get a snack. Jaime knew she had to wait to hunt and didn't like that one bit, it set her mouth in a pout as she made her way through the aisles. Her fingers played gently with the delicate strap of her thin slip of a dress, the cool air both outside and inside the store didn't seem to bother her as she glanced over the offerings on the shelf.
Either freshly from the local club or simply freshly unaware, she slipped her fingers along the strap of the dress that seemed slight and cool for the dipping temperatures of the autumn evening. It was just as he'd turned the corner of the aisle, still looking for aspirins that were momentarily forgotten as her movement distracted him. Perhaps there was hope for this one-horse town after all. He waited to make eye contact, placing a smile for her to hopefully see, though he hadn't said anything yet. She appeared to be on a similar mission, likely to pick up items for a hot night given her sleek appearance.
Jaime was aware of the man who came around the corner, she could smell him and hear the slight noise of his shoes on the floor, it took her a moment to look up because she didn't want to glance up too quickly. Her gaze was drawn to his smile and then she let it slowly wander over the rest of him, her tongue played lightly over her lips and she gave him a slight nod of acknowledgement. Her hand drifted away from her shoulder, her fingers still tangled in the strap and tugging it dangerously as she regarded the stranger with a slightly smouldering gaze.
It wouldn't hurt to ask her, he considered. "You look like a smart girl," he started, putting on a slightly helpless expression and giving a nod back at the clueless clerk at the counter who ignored them both while twisting her finger in the phone cord and talking endlessly at some hapless party on the other end. "Help us find the aspirins, would you? Found the shave cream and the beer. Might need help finding someone to share that with, though," he offered, a slight accent becoming more apparent while he made no secret of watching her fingers playing at her shoulder.
Part of her wanted to simply turn and walk off, her tail flicking in the air even though it wasn't showing in this form but the other part of her was curious. He was handsome and his voice had this soothing and exciting quality to it that made her want to giggle. "Do you usually look for someone to share your shaving cream with?" The pout disappeared for a moment as her smile briefly flashed and made her eyes sparkle.
"Depends on what happens after we finish the beer, yeah?" He chuckled, his tongue planting in his cheek as he realized how the first had sounded. "I'd meant sharing the beer and I'm offering to the lovely in the front row, unless she has someone waiting. In which case, I'll then have to insist and the sod's out of luck."
His comments kept her lips twitching at a smile and she glanced around the store for others, wondering if he was trying to lure her into some sort of a trap? He looked to be alone and his scent was quite appealing, her teeth caught her lower lip and she nodded a little. "Insist." She almost purred the word out and slowly moved toward him, reaching to take his arm.

"Oooo. Sucks to be him, doesn't it? I do insist. I hate to drink alone," he said, letting her latch hold. He mentally tallied the amount he needed to pay and tossed enough cash on the counter, not wanting to wait for the change. He juggled the can of cream and the box of bottles, finally giving up on the can to hand to her if she would help. "Think you can handle my cream, luv?"
She laughed softly as he assumed she had a man waiting for her, Jaime didn't bother to tell him it was her sisters and that she was expected but they didn't know when she would arrive. She let go of her strap finally, letting it fall softly down off her shoulder and reached her warm fingers to take the can from him. "Not the sort of cream I prefer.. but I'm sure I can handle anything you have.. luv?" Her eyebrow arched as she repeated the term of endearment back to him, she liked how it sounded.
"Habits - no offense meant," he apologized though he liked the way it sounded from her. "I do like how that sounds with an American accent. It almost purrs from your lips, yeah?" He gave her the can, noting the warmth. He looked at her strangely for a moment.
"I wasn't offended.. just never had someone use that turn of words before.. I liked it and how it sounded with your accent." She smiled in a way that was nearly sweet though he looked at her strangely and she glanced down to her hand which was now grasping the can of shaving cream. Had she scratched him? She didn't think so, but her gaze ran over her nails quickly before drifting up to his face. "Where am I taking your cream?"
"Anywhere you'd like," he'd started, but corrected himself from his daze. "To do me any good, likely back to the hotel. If that doesn't put you off...," he said, wondering if she would change her mind suddenly.
She bit her lip, the small giggle slightly muffled behind the expression though her eyes sparkled with the very naughty thoughts she had. "I'm not put off.. I think we'd get into all sorts of trouble if we stayed here or in the street.. I'm sure it would be fun but.. your hotel is probably the best choice." She agreed rather easily to his suggestion and curled his precious cream closer as she nodded for him to lead the way.
She wasn't and even seemed more intrigued now with her shared ideas. "Truer words... though that doesn't mean we can't still entertain trouble in the room, yeah?" The girl at the counter was still pre-occupied with her call, though the cash had disappeared from the counter. He'd thrown in enough for the couple of candy bars he took off the rack on their way out, handing those to his new friend as well. "Sweets for later. I'm sure we can find something creative for them."
Jaime watched the female clerk curiously for a moment as they passed her when heading to the door, she had never understood the facination of other girls and the telephone. She curled a little closer to the man, not asking his name but learning his scent more with each breath she took. "Creative?" She took the candy bars and looked to him with a questioning expression, wondering what he was thinking they might do with them. "I'm sure we can.." She agreed with a slight nod, even if they're ideas weren't the same, she got the sense that he could be quite creative.
"Mmm, I'm quite sure," he said, neither clearly admitting his creativity yet or hers. His car waited in the shadows at the edge of the store-front on the far side away from the phones. The was cool to him at least and he shrugged into his sweater a little. "Gets cool early here," he remarked, though he'd noticed her fingers were anything but chilled. "Shame my room doesn't have a fire."

"It does.." She seemed to remember to be cold then, faking a slight shiver and a chuckle though no chill was evident over her skin or in her warm grasp on his arm. The only part of her that might appear chilled was shown through the front of her thin dress though it was merely caused by the sensation of the fabric against her skin and that she wore nothing beneath the dress. "Mmm I like fires.. they're so pretty.." She went on with a bit of a dreamy sigh, her eyes lifting to the clear sky that was peppered with stars, she missed home and wondered if she'd like the farm. "It's alright.. we don't need a fire.." She shook off the thoughts and tossed her silken locks over her shoulder with a sweep of her hand.
"Mmm, no, I don't imagine we will," he said, his voice rolling darkly now as his ideas began to tumble and churn. She had no fear of him and he was beginning to wonder if he shouldn't be a little nervous, himself. He pushed that thought away in favor of more entertaining ones. Who knew how long it would be before he stayed in town again? "It's unlocked. Make yourself comfortable," he said, stopping on his side to put the beer in the back.
Her smile was playful as she watched him move away and toward his side of the car, she liked car rides though not long ones as she got too restless and didn't want to sit still. She glanced around the lot, her eyes glowing eerily as the light caught them just right, she didn't sense anyone else lurking. Once she felt assured that she was relatively safe she slipped into the car, dropping the can and candy bars into her lap. A small giggle floated out followed by an "mmmm.." As she stretched and gently rubbed against the seat, enjoying the feel of the cool leather against her skin. Her fingers flexed lightly as she resisted the urge to dig them in and pluck at the seats, she loved the satisfying sound that tearing made. "How far is it?" She asked him and reached to grip his thigh gently as he got into the car.
He chuckled at her pawwing and teasing. "Not close enough," he said, closing the door, but letting her hand stay. He looked over to admire how she curled and stretched against the seat. He had told her to get comfortable, hadn't he? "Only a minute or two, but I didn't fancy a walk in the dark. I might change my mind, though - later."
Her hand ran over his thigh down to his knee and back up to where he bent to sit in the seat, his scent was doing interesting things to her and her fingers gripped his leg a little more firmly. "Later is later, but now..." She leaned over to kiss him. ".. is now."
He hadn't even ventured to ask her a name. He didn't care at the moment, startled pleasantly and sighing a little into the kiss he returned eagerly. There was something about this girl... "Now is now," he repeated, laughing and licking the sweetness of the kiss from his lip. He was very eager now to return to his room. His hand rested over hers a moment before he started the car.
Jaime watched him lick the kiss from his lips and she smiled behind her cutely captured lip as she leaned back into her own seat though she left her hand resting warmly over his leg. Not only did she like how his scent was affecting her, she liked how it changed with her attention. She understood why her elder siblings wanted to find mates but now also believed you couldn't trust them. There was nothing wrong with enjoying the pleasures of another, just don't tell them your secrets or bring them home. She figured she could handle that, she'd soon find out.. or so she hoped. "I like you." She told him with a slight laugh and gave him some encouragement to get them to his hotel by squeezing his thigh gently.
"Only like?" He seemed disappointed, yet if this was only 'like' and she behaved like this, he was hopeful for amazing things to follow. He chuckled again and now moved her hand into his off his leg. "Rather not get a ticket, yeah? Speed all you like once we get there. Just a few minutes, lovely, just a few."

"My moods can change very quickly.. I might more than like you in a few minutes and then detest you later... but -now- I like you very much.." She warned and explained, shifting the way their arms rested so she could curl his hand up to her mouth. She nipped lightly at one finger and then used her tongue to draw it into her mouth, sucking the slight sting of her bite away.
"I see we have a bit in common then," he said, his gaze seeming to smoulder as she toyed with his fingertip. The sting wasn't at all unpleasant and the attention was certainly welcomed. He managed the shifting one-handed and brought them to the hotel a few miles down the road. It seemed to be a busy enough place though it was unlikely anyone would pay them any attention. "Second floor, far end. I asked for a quiet room," he said, suggesting they might not have any neighbors to be concerned with.
She admired a little that he managed to shift with one hand while she kept his other, it couldn't be all that easy though she'd never actually driven to know. She wondered how difficult it was to learn to drive, she decided she wanted to try it, but right now she had other things to do. "Hmm, I have a feeling it's not going to be very quiet for long." She teased him as she brought his hand down with hers to rest in her lap with the other items she'd almost forgotten about.
His crooked grin lit up his eyes a little. The dress she wore was quite light and the fabric very soft against his hand and he noted again that she was anything but chilled. "Room's up there," he pointed, pulling out the keys with a bit of trouble and teasing her with a near-kiss.
For a few seconds she was simply lost in his eyes as his smile lit them, she was nearly facinated by him and well curiosity was in her nature. She let go of his hand to reach for his neck, hoping to pull him back for the kiss he'd teased her with before they went up to his room. "And I'm right here."
"Aren't you, though?" His voice was nearly a whisper as he leaned closer under her grasp on his neck. "Not against steaming the windows a bit first," he said, letting the kiss linger a while this time.
She leaned up into the kiss, shifting in her seat to reach him better and curling her fingers into his hair as the kiss went on, her tongue teasing and taking more of his flavor into her senses. She didn't care whether the windows fogged up or not, she just wanted and wanted it now, she didn't try not to be greedy in taking his kiss and was generous in returning it. Her fingers gripped at his shoulder, digging in slightly through his light sweater.
He'd lost all track of time and care in those moments, savoring the kiss as well as the gentle dig of her fingertips. Someone's car door slammed nearby, reminding him they were still far too in the open to carry out the rest of what his mind suggested. The windows were quite misted and the beer was getting warm. "Time to go upstairs, pet. Don't want to put on a show for the kiddies," he murmured.
She stiffened slightly as he called her pet, pulling back far enough to gaze into his eyes and over his face with a questioning and slightly worried expression. She swallowed and tried to tell herself that he couldn't know what she was, could he? "Why did you call me that... pet?" She asked him, her voice soft almost frightened but not harsh or snippy in questioning his motives.

"Did I?" He chuckled, seeing the strange panic on her face. "It's only an expression, a term of endearment," he explained, reaching gently up to her cheek. "Only saying we should carry on up there. Not at all shy and don't really care who looks on, but there's more room to play, yeah?"
"Oh.." She sort of smiled and blushed, her face tilting down to the side a bit with his touch to her cheek, she felt silly and embarrassed for not knowing and worrying that he knew.. there was no way he could know. "More room to play sounds good." She hoped that she hadn't put him off and brought her gaze up to his, she was drawn to him in ways she'd never felt before, it both scared and excited her.
He stole another kiss before backing away to get out and grab the beer. "If you'll get my sweets and cream, we're ready," he said, giving her a wink.
She was smiling in a soft way as he pulled away from stealing that last kiss before getting out of the car, yeah she definitely liked him. "Hopefully we'll have enough sweets and cream to last us." She teased him back and gathered up the items before slipping out on her side of the car, Jaime was glad to be out of the confined space though she'd enjoyed the time spent within it. "Ready or not... " She sang quietly and skipped off toward the stairs that led to the second floor landing and the room he'd mentioned when they arrived in the parking lot. She held his attention fully as he got their drinks and locked the car, juggling now for the room key in his pocket as he watched her skip away. The light dress flowed nicely around her and took his mind wandering more than it had on the drive. He caught up with her on the landing and led her to the room at nearly the end of the hallway, pausing a moment at the doorway with a look at her, then the long row of doors he was sure someone was listening behind. He whispered, "What is your name?"
She smiled and her teeth caught her lower lip again, giving her this cute and playfully sweet expression, it was sweet that he wanted to know her name. She leaned to kiss him softly, whispering to him as she pulled away. "Jaime."
He smiled. "Jaime... it suits you," he said, licking his lip again and turning to unlock the door. "Patrick," he offered in passing as he opened the door to the large, comfortable room beyond and waited for her to go in.
"Mmmm.. You suit me.." She teased in return though she fully meant the comment and stepped into the room, her hand brushing over his hip and then his front as she moved past him. The room was nice, it seemed comfortable, not that it mattered since she'd slept on the ground for several nights before this.
The door was locked and latched with the not-to-disturb card hung and left swinging on the outside. He wasn't intending to seem impatient, but quickly moved the beers minus one for each of them into the small fridge, then opened the two he'd left out, handing her one. "Cheers, pet. To cream and sweets," he chuckled.
Her eyes followed his every move with facination, he was very attractive to her even though he didn't seem largely muscled beneath his sweater.. she liked that he was wearing a sweater. She took the beer though she looked at it oddly for a moment before smiling and giving a small nod to his toast. "Cheers, pet." She giggled quietly at how it sounded in her voice and then took a sip of the beer, making a funny face at how it tasted.

It amused him how she said his own phrases back to him. "Mm, you're not a fan. Sorry," he said, noting the face she made. "I should have asked if you wanted something else. I will admit, you certainly do taste better."
"It's alright, I didn't know I wasn't a fan. I've never had it before." She explained with a slight shrug and looked around to find a place to set the beer, she ended up just pushing it toward him. Her smile was still sweet and playful, not detered by the new and unpleasant taste, encouraged by his compliment. She followed the beer toward him and offered him another taste of her, brushing his mouth softly with her own. "I like the way you taste.. more, please." She whispered warmly, her green eyes slipping shut with her desire for indulgence.
Never had beer? He was shocked then slightly concerned. "Just how old are you? Not sure I want you to answer that."
She sighed softly and leaned against him, still trying to hand him the can while her other arm wrapped around his shoulders. "I'm twenty four.. how old are you?"
He took her drink and set it aside with his own, then wrapped around her gently, the smoke and fire returning to his expression. "Not twenty-four anymore, not for a few years now. Not sure I really want to answer that, actually" he chuckled, turning his words on himself this time. "But I am glad I asked." He was also quite glad he'd set the drinks down in favor of soaking up her warmth instead.
"Awww not fair.. I told you." She purred and nuzzled to his neck, her fingers flexing and curling against his shoulder as her other hand walked up his chest. "Why does it matter how old I am or how old you are?" She giggled a little and nipped lightly at his earlobe. "Tell me.."
"Tell you... why the sky is blue? Tell you... that tickles beautifully? Tell you...," he paused to think of something else and grasped her fingers gently to kiss them like she'd done to his in the car. He nipped gently, reluctant to let go. "I think I like not playing fair."
Jaime liked how he played, fair or not and she let her fingernail 'tickle' at his tongue as she gave him a small warning. "Mmm careful, luv.. my claws are sharp." She continued her own nips down his neck, each one just a little harder than the last.
"Mmm, careful you don't stir a sleeping beast. I'm rather partial to playing rough. Don't say you weren't warned, lovely," he muttered, almost purring at her nibbles and encouraging her to continue.
It seemed he was the one doing the stirring as she shifted and brought her gaze to meet his, the look in her eyes held fire and hunger. Her hands drifted over his torso, down to slip beneath his sweater, her fingers digging a little to pull them closer together. "Show me." She whispered across his mouth, nipping at his lower lip.
